CAPSULE is proud to announce that it has received the Special Award at the 2025 Fukuoka Venture Market (FVM) Awards, an initiative hosted by Fukuoka Prefecture to recognize innovative companies with outstanding business concepts and high growth potential. The FVM has also served as a platform for international exchange, with Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council previously participating. This award stands as a strong recognition of CAPSULE’s continued efforts in helping Japanese IPs expand into overseas markets.
On April 25, 2025, in celebration of this achievement, Takuya Yonezawa, Senior Vice President of CAPSULE, visited Governor Seitaro Hattori of Fukuoka Prefecture. During the meeting, they discussed CAPSULE’s business model and its vision for future development.
Governor Hattori shared that the prefectural government will launch a new startup support hub, Global Connect Fukuoka, in mid-May. This new initiative aims to further empower globally-minded startups like CAPSULE to expand into international markets.
The awarded project highlights CAPSULE’s long-term initiative, the “IP Global Expansion Support Program,” which helps Japanese animation, characters, brands, and creators localize content, secure international licensing, build overseas distribution partnerships, and execute cross-border marketing strategies. This program has already led to several successful international collaborations and licensing agreements.
As a pioneer committed to “We empower unrevealed internet-driven creativity,” CAPSULE will continue to empower promising IPs to deliver compelling content to audiences around the world.
