Product integration became not an advertisement, but a highly anticipated part of the livestream experience.
The collaboration reframed the key benefit of the “KGI Dual-Currency Mileage Card”—NT$18 earns 1 mile—into a message fans could instantly relate to:“Earn miles now, fly to Japan next year, and cheer for Team Taiwan in person.”This emotional context made the financial product resonate authentically with baseball fans.
Throughout the livestream, Josh repeatedly highlighted the product benefits. Rather than showing resistance, viewers fueled the hype—chat messages like “Read the KGI line again!” and “Don’t stop!” sparked a viral wave of interaction. The meme even spread to international broadcasts, where commentators jokingly referred to him as the “Curse Guy,” pushing the topic beyond local audiences.

After the livestream, viewers posted their card application screenshots on Threads, driving organic word of mouth. User-generated content and media discussions surged across Dcard, Facebook, and YouTube, resulting in over 760,000 additional impressions for KGI Bank. The campaign achieved a triple win: content impact, community engagement, and commercial conversion.
